Born in the UK and raised in Montreal. He completed high school at West Island College, CEGEP at Marianopolis (Health Sciences) and a bachelor’s in computer engineering at McGill University. He pursued his Islamic studies at Al-Ihsan Educational Foundation under the supervision of Mufti Aasim Rashid, then completed his final year at Darul Uloom Bury in the UK. He has taught intermediate Islamic courses (iComp – Islam Comprehensive) for adults and mature students over the span of several years out of Al-Ihsan Education Foundation in Surrey, BC. He has also been teaching the ‘Aalimiyyah program to devoted students in Montreal for a few years. Some of his students have gone on to complete their studies and have started their own initiatives.
